SEATTLE POSITIONS:

MICU – Medical Intensive Care Unit/Cardiac Care Unit (MICU/CCU) is an 18 bed intensive care unit specializing predominantly in cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal, endocrine and neurological disorders.

SICU – Surgical Intensive Care Unit is a 10 bed unit specializing in cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery and abdominal surgery.

COVID-19 unit (4W) – The COVID-19 unit is a medical/surgical unit designated to care for suspected and confirmed COVID-19 positive patients.

2 West – 2 West is a 25 bed inpatient medicine unit specializing in oncology care (solid tumors, leukemias, lymphomas and bone marrow transplant overflow).

6 West – 6 West is a 30 bed inpatient unit that provide medical care and specializes in cardiac and neurology care.

Cath Lab – The Cath Lab nurse is responsible for providing and managing effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures, using the nursing process and current standards of care. He/she provides patient education pre and post cardiac procedures. He/she is able to establish IV access, use IV infusion pumps and prepare and administer drugs necessary for procedure and monitors physiological patient responses.

Same Day Unit – Same Day Services is an outpatient unit which provides patient care in three functional areas and also covers PACU: Outpatient Evaluation Clinic (OEC), Same Day Unit (SDU) and Surgical Clinics. OEC is an area where all specialty services can obtain or perform pre-procedure and complex evaluations for patients. PAC provides a centralized area admission processing and day-of-surgery admissions. SDU provides care for outpatient procedures.

SCI – The Spinal Cord Injury Service consists of a 38 bed CARF-accredited rehabilitation unit. This service provides care for medically complex patients including vent dependent patients, and provides acute SCI rehabilitation, medical rehospitalizations, post-op care, pressure ulcer treatment, annual evaluations, and outpatient treatment.

Primary Care Clinic – Primary Care Clinic is hiring RN Care Managers responsible for organizing and directing team members to achieve desirable patient outcomes through day-to-day and/or telephonic case management and Clinic Nurses providing face-to-face care in the clinic in support of the Patient Aligned Care Team.

AMERICAN LAKE/TACOMA POSITION:

CLC – The Community Living Center at American Lake is a 79,000 square foot lakeside facility. It features 83 beds in both private and semi-private rooms, a hospice unit, a rehabilitation unit and an Alzheimer’s disease/dementia unit. Breaking from the traditional nursing home concept of a hospital wing with standard nursing stations, the American Lake Community Living Center is designed around one main street corridor with a series of branching neighborhoods. A state-of-the-art, full service kitchen and dining room complete the unique design. The dining room provides meal service for all residents at American Lake including those in the Community Living Center, the domiciliary and blind rehabilitation. Additionally, the Alzheimer’s/dementia unit has its own private dining area.

MHRRTP – The Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program facility, also known as the Domiciliary, is comprised of 64 beds incorporating 4 programs: PTSD Program through Veterans Intensive PTSD (VIP), Addiction Treatment Program, Back-to-work/Homeless Program and General Domiciliary Pain Program.
