Roles may include:
- Custodial – Starting pay rate of $15.00/hour
- Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant – Starting pay rate of $15.00/hour
- Bus Drivers – Starting pay rate of $19.00/hour
- Lifeguard – starting rate of $15.25/hour for shallow water, and $16.25/hour for deep water.
- Security – Starting pay rate of $16.50/hour

Responsibilities
Custodial
- Willing to work at various heights
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant
- Written and verbal communications skills
- Physical role, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
Lifeguard
- Strong observational and verbal communication skills to proactively identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
- Must be able to observe all sections of an assigned zone
- Pass a vision and hearing screening
- Lifeguard training is provided and must be successfully completed
- Perform work that may involve lifting Guests, in and out of the pool up to 100 lbs or more with assistance
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
Bus Driver
- Maintain safety of our guests while operating vehicles, including buses and passenger vans
- Conduct vehicle inspections, which include a high level of memorization
- Take ownership during emergency situations
- Spiel and communicate with guests over a microphone to provide safety and other information
- Knowledge of all routes & roadways to all destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort, including Theme Parks, Waterparks, Resort Hotels, and Disney Springs
- Routes often change with short notice due to Guest demand
- Safely drive in various environments including pedestrians, wildlife, and other Guest vehicles in different lighting scenarios & inclement weather
- Assist guests with boarding
- Operate an accessibility lift
Security
- Must be at least 18 years of age for consideration with at least one year or more of one of the following:
- Guest screening
- Experience with standard office software programs
- Written, verbal communication skills; including using telephone and radio
- Prolonged standing to perform and maintain crowd control during peak operational hours in outdoor settings during different weather conditions
Basic Qualifications
Custodial:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Willing to work at various heights
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
- Part-Time and requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of THREE (3) days per week, including nights and holidays
- Good communication skills
Food & Beverage Quick Service Restaurant:
- Written and verbal communications skills.
- Physical role, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling
Lifeguard:
- Strong observational skills to proactively identify Guest needs and ensure safety guidelines are being followed
- Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively engage with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership)
- Must be able to observe all sections of an assigned zone
- Pass a vision screening with at least 20/25 vision, corrected or uncorrected
- Pass a hearing screening at the time of hire to validate the ability to detect and respond to noises and distress signals in an aquatic environment including in the water and anywhere around the zone of responsibility
- Lifeguard training is provided and must be successfully completed
- Perform work that may involve lifting Guests, in and out of the pool up to 100 lbs or more with assistance
- Deep Water Swim Test: ability to swim 200 yards, tread water without using hands for 2 minutes, feet-first dive to retrieve a 10-pound brick from a depth of 8 feet
- Shallow Water Swim Test: ability to swim 50 yards, feet-first dive to retrieve a 10-pound brick from a depth of 5 feet
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
Transportation Bus Driver:
- Maintain safety of our guests while operating vehicles, including buses and passenger vans
- Conduct vehicle inspections, which include a high level of memorization
- Take ownership during emergency situations
- Greet and provide a warm welcome to our guests as they board the vehicle
- Spiel and communicate with guests over a microphone to provide safety and other information
- Knowledge of all routes & roadways to all destinations within the Walt Disney World Resort, including Theme Parks, Waterparks, Resort Hotels, and Disney Springs
- Routes often change with short notice due to Guest demand
- Safely drive in various environments including pedestrians, wildlife, and other Guest vehicles in different lighting scenarios & inclement weather
- Assist guests with boarding:
- Operate an accessibility lift
- Push & pull wheelchairs
- Involves lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting while using belts and straps to secure the guests to provide a safe ride
- Load/unload Electronic Convenience Vehicle (ECV) and folding strollers
- Routes often change with short notice due to Guest demand
- Interact with a professional motor vehicle software system
- Responsible for keeping vehicles clean and presentable at all times
- Prolonged standing to perform and maintain crowd control during peak operational hours in outdoor settings during different weather conditions
Security:
- A valid Florida Driver’s License
- Maintain a Florida Security Guard License – Class D
- Must be at least 18 years of age for consideration with at least one year or more of one of the following:
- Law Enforcement, or Deputy experience
- Military experience
- Loss Prevention or Plain Clothes Operatives experience
- Security Guard/Officer experience responsible for foot/bicycle/motor patrol, monitoring cameras, and/or aviation screening
- High pressure situational experience such as an Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter, Flight Attendant or a 911 Operator
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Private Investigations, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services or any other Security related field
- Knowledge of the latest security technology as it relates to Guest screening
- Experience with standard office software programs
- Written, verbal communication skills; including using telephone and radio

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
