Youth job Fair (all job seekers are welcome to attend)

Coral Ridge Mall, Mall Zone C #118,1451 Coral Ridge Ave, Coralville, Iowa
Attached to the Mall (Between Barnes and Noble & Chico’s)
***No Through Access
Time:
1:00pm – 3:00pm
Parking/Transportation:
Mall Parking (Parking lots nearest Barnes and Nobles & Chico’s). There is no entrance from the mall directly. Space is attached to the mall near mall side entrance, behind outdoor planters and benches.
***Attention Students: Bus Passes for transportation to this event have been made available through your school’s main/guidance office.
What to Bring:
Employer- Feel free to bring promotional items, some flyers, and a company table cover to spruce up your space – any of those types of things. Tables and Chairs will be provided for this event. This event will take place inside of the mall!

Description:
The Youth Job Fair is an event where multiple businesses/organizations, hiring managers and employers can meet with potential employees in one convenient venue. This year’s event will be held in the Coral Ridge Mall.
Additional Activities:
Interview Clothing- Donations for appropriate interview clothing will be available for those who need it. Limited selection and supply.
Resume Support- Career specialist will be available to assist with resume preparation on site during the job fair.
Professional Head Shots- Special Thanks to Danforth Johnson Photography! They will be providing professional headshots, free of charge, to students participating in the job fair! https://danforthjohnsonphotography.wordpress.com/about/
Mock Interview- A mock interview is a practice run before your actual interview. The purpose of a mock interview is to give you the skills and experience you need to walk into your real interview feeling relaxed, confident, and prepared. Whenever possible, it is recommend doing a series of mock interviews (instead of just one) so you have a chance to incorporate initial feedback, finetune your skills, and get as comfortable as possible in an interview setting.
Apprenticeships- This opportunity is also designed to connect employers/job seekers with apprenticeship programs to students looking to move on from High School to an Registered Apprenticeship Program.
Prizes:
Thanks to our gracious community partners, there will be $850 in prizes given to participants of the job fair and job fair related activities. More information to come soon!
